Every month we are going to be presenting a horse that is in need of fostering at our facility. This means that this particular horse is not ready to be adopted for some reason either medical or training level. These are the horses that put the most stress on our facility and obviously take the most time and care. We do not give up on any horse and believe that every horse deserves a great home. There is no time limit for adoptions at our facility. A horse is adopted when the horse is ready and there is a capable and quality adopter for him or her.
Our on-facility foster program: Total est cost of supporting a horse for one month. 150.00. The Foster Familys can donate 25.00 per month,♥ 50.00 per month,♥ 75.00 per month,♥ 100.00 per month or♥ 150.00 per month. More than one Family can donate for the care of one horse, up to the 150.00 then they will have the option of another horse that is in need. ♥ When that Fostered horse is adopted then the Foster Familys have the option to foster another horse. See paypal info below to start Fostering your horse.
As a Foster Family you will recieve updates and pictures of your horse. Any information that I have recieved about that horse prior to it coming here. Cute stories and antics that your horse has been involved in while here on the ranch. Information about prospective adopters and if adopted updates and pictures. If adopter is willing, contact information so that you can follow on the progress and life of your horse.

This time there are two little girls that need a good foster person to help with their care. These two thin yearling fillys were just picked up from the Slaughter Feedlot only a week ago. What a couple of cuties and really smart. They are in halter training right now and are filling out nicely. It is amazing what just a normal amount of feed can do for a horse. These two are available for adoption just as soon as they are thru their isolation time. Let us know if you are interested in adopting or fostering these two or any of the other new ones at our ranch.
THIS MONTHS FOSTER HORSE IS SKIPS PRETTY BAR, A REGISTERED 9 YEAR OLD QUARTERHORSE MARE. SKIP WAS BROUGHT HERE WITH HER , THEN THREE MONTH OLD FILLY (RANDOM). SHE WAS EXTREMELY FEARFULL OF PEOPLE AND HAD NOT HAD MUCH KINDNESS IN HER LIFE. SHE IS A TOUGH ONE. SHE WENT TO MONTY ROBERTS FOR TWO WEEKS AND THEY GOT A HALTER ON HER AND GOT TO TOUCH HER AND THAT WAS ABOUT IT. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURE I HAD GOTTEN A HALTER ON HER PRIOR TO SENDING HER THERE BUT IT TOOK ABOUT A WEEK TO DO JUST THAT. SHE IS HALTER BROKE THOUGH AND LEADS REALLY WELL. SHE IS USED TO BEING ROPED AND THEN HALTERED. WE ARE WORKING ON NOT ROPING HER FIRST RIGHT NOW. HUMANS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH HER. SHE AVOIDS YOUR TOUCH WITH PRECISION AND GRACE. SHE IS NOT THE SLIGHTEST BIT MEAN BUT WATCHFULL. SHE ALLOWS ME TO TOUCH HER RIGHT CHEEK AND HER LEFT SHOULDER. I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHY THOSE TWO PLACES BUT THOSE ARE ALLOWED.
THIS IS MY PROJECT RIGHT NOW. IT IS GOING TO BE A WHILE BEFORE I FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT ADOPTING HER OUT TO ANYONE. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A VERY ADVANCED HORSE PERSON AND THEY USUALLY DON'T LIKE TO "WASTE" THEIR TIME ON HORSES LIKE HER. SHE WILL BE HERE FOR A WHILE AND I HAVE ALL OF THE TIME IN THE WORLD FOR HER. SHE IS MAKING ADVANCES, SO I AM CONFIDENT THAT SHE WILL BE HAPPY AND CALM SOMEDAY.
PLEASE HELP US SUPPORT THIS MARE AND WHEN SOMEONE ASKS IF YOU HAVE A HORSE? YOU CAN PROUDLY TAKE OUT YOUR PICTURE OF YOUR STUNNING PALOMINO QUARTER MARE AND SAY "YES" I DO. HER NAME IS SKIP AND THIS IS HER PICTURE. YOUR KIDS CAN GET INVOLVED TOO AND IF YOU ARE EVER IN CALIF. LOOK US UP AND COME SEE YOUR HORSE IN PERSON. OUR GATES ARE ALWAYS OPEN.
THANK YOU
